About Parker

I am an MFA graduate of the American Film Institute, a 2021 Resident Filmmaker of the Eastern Oregon Film Festival, and a cornfed Wisconsin boy.

I love all kinds of filmmaking, but my specialties are in horror film and socially-engaged documentary (a heady brew!). Among diverse projects, I recently...

  • Wrote and directed the horror short The Buried River—nominated for Best Fantasy Horror Short at the Port of Fear Film Festival.

  • Shot, edited, and co-produced the documentary "What We're Hungry For"—winner of the Moved Us Most Award at the Ceres Food Film Festival.

  • Co-wrote a vertical micro-drama vampire romance for the app MiniShorts.
